No NTLM login support in libsasl. KMail stopped sending email

Hi,

KMail stopped sending email on me a couple of days ago. Looking through in the forums and Google search results, I found out that this maybe related to cyrus-sasl.

Now, the smtp server that I am using only has NTLM support which was not enable in "./configure" for libsasl. Changing the PKGBUILD and installing that made things work. Should I report this to the package maintainer or was NTLM support dropped on purpose?

I had the same problem with Chakra, added --enable-ntml in PKGBUILD and it worked.
I also would like to know the answer to your question...
