a couple questions about medit

Is medit's terminal component vte?  if so, where is vte's config file?  in any case, I really don't like white on black for anything, and I'd like to change the font.  I can't find any customization options for the terminal panel...

oh, and what does the other "medit" do?  I found something that appears to be for novel writing or something.  No linux version I could see.

Medit's documentation is hard to find.  And once you've found it, the documentation is not very informative.  The best thing to do might be to go to Maciej Sobczak's site, http://www.msobczak.com/prog/medit/.  He's the author.
