Removing access to nics?

Even as a noob, I've gotten Arch installed with 4 nics, virtualbox, and 3 virtual win2k servers that can all access the internets using bridged networking and even get accessed from external IPs on selected ports.  Now, my current question is- can I remove access to those extra nics from the Linux side?  With all my wisdom (LOL) I tried to ping using one of the bridged nics withing Arch, and received errors from my virtualized servers.  I would like to cut myself and others off from using those nics while they are bridged.  Maybe I have the wrong config running....but hey, it works!  Let me know if you need more info too.

Thanks in advance!
