Hello I'm searching for the any file and folder indexer like Beagle which has Web interface with the search query, but the only condition is that I can enable any type of auth even trough .htaccess.
Or if you know any way that I could enable authentication to beagle web interface or to Peagle Webgui.
Tracker, beagle, strigi, Recoll, Pinot, Searchmonkey, Google desktop

Currentlly there is no available authentication in those webinterfaces
Also I saw somewhere the PHP script for rlcocate and locate with the web search input query filed for the rlocate and locate with the textual output, but seems I cant find in anymore.
I remeber it was having something like:
passthru('locate -fprint queryoutput.txt');
If anyone have it please leave the link to that script.
To explain the goals of any webinterface or php search scripts, is to allow to your friends the secure way for them and you, that they could search trough your files on your PC or on your server. The goal is that public cant access to the personal file structure, and that it could be only available to the users with user name and password.
