macbook pro (5.5) + synaptics touchpad

Hi,

I seem to not succeed in getting the config of my macbook-touchpad correct. I have followed the wiki on synaptics and hotplugging, have enabled HAL etc. and some functions are working perfectly, like twoFingerScrolling.

What doesn't work is 'two-finger-dragging' an object: once I click on the object, I can only move it by sliding the finger I used to click the object, and not another finger. You know: you click and hold a window with your thumb and move the window with your index finger to the desired location. No workee sad

Since twoFingerScroll is working and tapButton2, I don't think detecting the multiple touches is the problem, but rather that once the (only) button on my touchpad is clicked, all other touches are ignored/blocked.

Anyone got an idea?

THX!

OK, I will be trying some new stuff out I found here:
http://linux.die.net/man/5/synaptics

LockedDrags and EdgeMotionUseAlways could make it usable for me, but it is not exactly what I'm looking for...
