conky version 1.7.3?

Hi,

I have compiled my own version of conky (with options such that I can use it to show xmms2 things), and has set pacman not to upgrade it - but now, according to pacman, there is a new version 1.7.3 (I have the 1.7.2 version).

So I go to sourceforge to get the newest version, but here I see that there is no version 1.7.3 of conky. What's going on?

There is no 1.7.3, right. conky 1.7.2-3 is conky 1.7.2, 3rd rebuild.

edit: If you build your own version, you're better off changing the $pkgrel in the PKGBUILD to something like 99 or so.

maybe you read it wrong... there is no 1.7.3 upstream your right.. but pacman shows the latest version to be  1.7.2-3.  The "-3" part indicating that this is version 3 of the arch package.  The package maintainer has just changed something in the package build,  it's not a new version of the software.
