phonon-xine problem

Hello all, I'm having the infamous gstreamer/amarok wait to play song problem.  After I install phonon-xine, the systemsettings multimedia section simply crashes.  Any ideas?

Oh, nothing in dmesg and nothing on the console if I try to start systemsettings from there...

Arch64, KDE 4.3 from extra
