Install on Dell XPS 13 - X server woes

EDIT: Figured it out.  Used nvidia driver and parts of the xorg.conf file from the XP3 13 entry in the Wiki.  Sorry.

Hi everyone,
I did a fresh install on a Dell XPS 13 with an Nvidia 9500M graphics card.  I installed the nvidia-96xx driver and used nvidia-xconfig for my xorg.conf.  When I start hal and try to start the X server, I get an error that no devices were detected.  So far, I have been following the beginner's guide (http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beg … igure_ALSA).  I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me whether I'm using the wrong driver/give me some advice as to how to proceed.

Try the nvidia 173 driver. The 96 version is only for old Geforce cards like the GF4 for example.
