CUPS doesn't see your printer if you have usblp in modules. Don't know if you need "!usblp" specifically. But... Okay, CUPS works here, but my printer does not work always.

lsmod | grep usblp shows that the modul is loaded so i think i have to add !usblp to the list

Some have reported that their printer still works with the new CUPS release while usblp is loaded as a module, but it's probably better to go ahead and blacklist usblp and know that it's not causing any printer issues that might pop up later.

my printer doesn't even work with !usblp, i've no problem with the module though ...
i also didn't have to remove cups.conf, i just reinstalled the print driver using the webfrontend

My printer does not work with cups at all XD
