[SOLVED] Nvidia-settings [...]

Couldn't think of a better title.

Anyways, for these settings to be applied I need to start nvidia-settings at boot (I add it to my .config/openbox/autostart.sh)

Is this correct? I've never heard of anyone else having to do so. This isn't a recent thing either, I've been autostarting nvidia-settings since forever, but it can be a bit annoying as the screen goes black twice before it settles.

Edit: Embarrassing, but it was in the manual. In case someone else has the same "problem", adding it to .xinitrc didn't work for me, I had to add it to my .config/openbox/autostart.sh
