Some kde aps not found after update

I just did a massive (1gb) update last night (I know update more often!!)
Most things seem to be fine, except several kde aps aren't found. Konqueror, dolphin and kopete are the ones that don't work so far. I searched the forums but didn't find anything. What's up? I assume it has to do with the new kde-meta-* packages. Anyone know how to fix this?

I checked via pacman and the proper packages seem to be installed..

Re: Some kde aps not found after update

So it seems to be all kde aps that won't run. Anyone?

Any output if you try running from a terminal?

Re: Some kde aps not found after update

when I run "locate konqueror" I get lots of output, including this:
/usr/bin/konqueror
Doesn't that mean it "should" run?

Are you on 64 bit?

Re: Some kde aps not found after update

I should have been a lot more wordy on my last post.

Almost all of the time that you get file no found errors for stuff that's in the PATH is because there's a mix of binaries for different architectures (64 bit and 32 bit in case of Arch). Although, with KDE stuff it would be strange to not get wrong ELF class errors. Did you enable any new repos recently?

Re: Some kde aps not found after update

ok, I just used thunar to look in /usr/bin and there is hardly any kde apps in there! What is there does run, such as kdesu or kdm but no konqueror, kopete, konsole, etc...

Skottish, no, I dont' think I enabled any new repos?

Re: Some kde aps not found after update

I'd just run "pacman -S kde" again.

Alright, this is nuts! Just for the heck of it I tried installing kdenetwork....  Didn't need to download, because it was all here, it just installed and waaa laaa kopete runs!?
What the heck happened when I ran -Syu yesterday then?? Not everything installed?? This is so strange!!
