Bootchart broken

I installed bootchart today and everything seemed fine.  Booting up proceeds normally, however, when I run bootchart-render, I get

/var/log/bootchart.tgz not found

When I reboot, it drops to TTY which is filled with the following:

/sbin/bootchartd: line 105: cannot write, no space left on device

The line number varies between 105 and 109.

The only similar problem I can find when I google the error is a german forum post here http://forum.archlinux.de/?page=Posting … hread=8527

I used google to translate it and tried using a bootchartd file suggested in there, but it resulted in a kernel panic.

Any suggestions?

Re: Bootchart broken

I also run into the same problem and my /var have plenty of space left. Weird.
