[SOLVED] Mutt with sidebar mailbox name question

Hello all.

I have recently started using mutt again and am using the commented PKGBUILD in the AUR.  It seems to be working OK except for one thing.

I have a mail box called  the_mailbox and athough I have configured it to be one of the mailboxes to be shown in the side bar when ever I go to that mailbox in the side bar it say "mail box does't exist".  I am guessing it has something to do with the underscore.  I have tried the\_mailbox  the'_'mailbox and the"_"mailbox but none of these appear to work.

Strangely if I change to the mail box using mutts 'c' key I can get in there no problems.

Does anyone know the correct way I should configure my .muttrc to be able to have this mailbox in my sidebar?

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried 'the_mailbox' or "the_mailbox" ? If not, try those next.

Thanks for the tip but neither of these worked.

Any other suggestions?  Anyone?

Have you tried creating a hard/soft link to another name and specifying it in your config file(s)?

I'm just throwing ideas around, but what about trying my idea combined with one of yours? (I guess the one that makes sense is to try using the backslash while everything is inside the quote marks.)

Or re-name your mailbox, though clearly you wouldn't be asking this question in the first place if the mailbox name didn't matter...

Thanks all for your suggestions.

In case someone comes across this in the future I am running my mail sever with IMAP a-la Dovecot.

I created a symlink to get around this in the end, hopefully its doesn't cause to many problems on my email server.
