Appearently the packages does not exist? I tried for a few days, using both mirrors. Does anyone know a cure?

Re: problem installing hplip on x86_64 platform

Found through Google:

http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=67983

And if you want to see what's wrong, look at your output and check out the packages here:

ftp://ftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/arch … os/x86_64/

I'm not trying to be rude, it's just that many questions can be answered almost as quickly as they can be typed.

Re: problem installing hplip on x86_64 platform

foomatic-db-hpijs no longer exists and it was removed from the repositories. Update & upgrade your repo database with "sudo pacman -Syu" and then install hplip with "sudo pacman -S hplip".
