lately i've been using X a bit less frequently, but still more than 50% of the time. it depends on what i plan to do when i turn on my laptop, i guess. i doubt there are many desktop/home users who never use X.

I have for a year once. Did use a framebuffer though, I still needed my pdfs and movies

It's complex. My zshrc is in the dotfiles repo on the same server.

You need to install an RTFM interface.
