how can i view drm protected ebooks in linux?

i am trying to get some drm protected ebooks, and i have options like epub (for digital editions), or pdf (for digital editions) or Barnes & Noble ereader...but i am not finding linux clients.

the ubuntu forums seem to make digital editions work...but i want to make sure im not missing anything

any tips or  ideas?
