Yesterday and today ran pacman -Syu and got file conflicts which prevent the upgrade.
I use kdemod-4.3 and have kernel26 kernel26-firmware nvidia nvidia-utils and xorg-server 'ignored' in /etc/pacman.conf.
The error messages are 1) xbitmaps:/usr/include/X11/bitmaps/black6 and /usr/include/X11/bitmaps/box6 exist in file system(owned by xorg-apps 7.4-2) 2) xf86dgaproto: /usr/include/X11//extensions/xf86dga.h exists in system(owned by libxxf86dga 1.0.99.1-1). No udates were installed. This would have been a 234.6mb update
What files should I rm to allow the updates to continue? Thx.

It's an open bug: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/16786

I renamed the mentioned files. After a new tupac -Syu all the updates were installed.

I just forced the install of those two packages. No harm done.

New packages are up and work nicely. Wait for them to reach your mirror and you should be able to upgrade without any problems.

Thx for replies guys. After reading the bug report I rm'd the /usr/include/X11/bitmaps/black6 ,........../box6 and /usr/include/X11/extensions/xf86dga.h files and was able to run pacman -Syu without problem. Thx again.
