[SOLVED] Express Card LPT not working/recognized.

Hi
Yesterday I bought an Express Card with LPT port (not pcmcia ). When I plug it in my laptop nothing happens, I mean there is no output in dmesg. Do I need special drivers or modules ?  How to check if the system is seeing that something has been attached to the express card slot ?

Can you do

tail -f /var/log/messages.log

before you plug-in the card?

Problem solved :D, there was some dirt inside the Express Card slot, I cleaned it and know it works .
