Compiz Stand Alone, how to launch any application ?

Hello
I installed Compiz Fusion as Stand Alone WM, without gnome, kde, or xfce...

I've a question: How can I launch a program like terminator (terminal emulator) when I'm on my black desktop with just my mouse cursor xD ?

Thanks smile

You can install an application launcher like dmenu, gmrun, or gnome-do to launch your applications.

Thanks, but do you know any lighter alternative ?
I don't like programs which come with dependencies ^^

There's a suggestion here: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Com … ndalone_WM

Other than that, Google around for application launchers.  cdwillis's recommendations are good, though.  Both dmenu and gmrun have barely any dependencies.

I would recommend bashrun. I think all it requires is bash and xterm.

I haven't lost my mind; I have a tape back-up somewhere.
