[NVIDIA] Can't change the speed of fan

Hi there,

I've got a new graphic card: a nVidia GTS 250 (the Asus's one).
The problem is that the fan are running full speed, everytime and it's very noisy.

I try to use nvclock but :

~/ nvclock -f -F 80
Error: Your card doesn't support fanspeed adjustments!

Is there something I can do about it ?

Maybe the gpu is too hot and prevents lowering fan speed?

Some nvidia cards support only automatic fan speed control, not manual. That's what i've seen.
