Mount as user external usb hard disk

Automount of my external usb hard disk works with a little problem. The disk is mounted with root permissions. I've tried to automount it as user by following those instructions http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HAL … ion_Denied however the disk is still mounted as root.

I wouldn't like to put the disk in fstab or change by hand the permissions of /media/disk.

Any ideas on how to make it mount as user just like it happens with my usb stick?

I am using KDEmod 4.3.2 and the Device Notifier plasmoid to mount the disk.
