I already solved this by downgrading, but thanks for that, I've found it useful smile

skottish, I think you have a little mistake there, You have based your install file in the one in aur and that one has the same problem I believe.

You have

post_install() {
  update-mime-database usr/share/mime > /dev/null
  update-desktop-database -q
}

when I believe it should be

post_install() {
  update-mime-database /usr/share/mime > /dev/null
  update-desktop-database -q
}

Thanks and you're right. I probably shouldn't have posted the PKGBUILD in the first place because it's a combination of three separate builds used in the past. Up until this breakage everything kept working, so I simply forgot about it. Well, pcmanfm breaks in subversion constantly, so who knows if anyone got a successful build?

That begs the question: do we even have 10+ mods? lol

Shhh, don't say anything. Now we all can brag to our hearts content.

Re: Mimetypes in pcmanfm

New version of PCmanFM released today. From the mailing lists:

New release for the old PCManFM.
Changes:
1. Fix compatibility issue with the latest shared-mime-info.
2. Little fix for preference dialog.

It is sorta scary sometimes how very fast things are taken care of in the Linux World.

I keep getting distracted from my webserver project...
