How to shutdown directly from KDE

I install Arch about a week ago and use KDE as my desktop manager and kdm as my display manager. My problem is everytime I choose turn off the computer from KDE it will only shutdown the X window and bring me to the console. From there I have to manually type shutdown -h now to shutdown the computer.

Is there any way I could shutdown the computer directly from KDE when I choose to turn off the computer like most of the liveCD distro do?

Re: How to shutdown directly from KDE

I can shutdown directly from KDE so it's probably a configuration problem. How do you start kdm? Are you starting it with  /etc/inittab  ?

Re: How to shutdown directly from KDE

I load kdm module from rc.conf. BTW I already solve this problem, apparently I forgot to allow normal user to shutdown the system.
Sorry for the trouble  smile
