As the subject says ...my external jack mic doesnt work with alsa ...
I am quite new to this ...So please forgive me if i lack any info...
I have searched through the forums...and tried the soultions but to no avial..
my asound.conf is empty so is my ~/.asoundrc
my modprobe.conf consist of
alias net-pf-10 off
alias 8139cp off
alias snd-card-0 snd_hda_intel
alias sound-slot-0 snd_hda_intel
options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=3stack enable=1
please help ..i would really like to get my mic to work...

PS..i got a hda nvidia alsa mixer and realtek alc1200 as the oss mixer
