When I plug in a USB drive or insert an audio CD, KDE4.3 won't automount it, or even ask me what to do with it. I'd like for it to at least automount USB drives. This says KDE4.3 can do that, but I can't find an option for it anywhere.
I've followed this suggestion on the wiki but it had no effect.
Thoughts?
EDIT: I've no longer had this problem since upgrading to KDE 4.4.

Perhaps you will find the drive in "devices plugged in" next to the Kde start button.
They also appear in "/media/disk".
Prediction...This year will be a very odd year!

How are you starting KDE ? If you're not using a login manager (kdm or gmd) you need to run 'ck-launch-session startkde'.

Also ensure that you have setup policykit to allow for mounting of removable media. There is a tool for this in KDE System Settings under the Advanced tab.
