Hi, my printer stopped working all of a sudden, that is due to some bug, not the printer it self. Anyone who knows where to start look for whats wrong? Cups detect it when I delete and add it. Document appears in the print queue. But no action.

Having the same problem with a Samsung ML2851NL laser printer. I signed onto Ubuntu and it still works there as it also does on Pardus. Just on Arch am I having the problem.
I reinstalled CUPS and that did nothing to solve it. I have everything up to date with the pacman and the printer was working just fine up until about a week ago. For now I just send what I want to print to the other distro and print them there while I try to find out what changed that would cause this.
Went into CUPS and realized that CUPS is now looking for me to have a print server network setup and it does not find any printer. I don't have any print server network setup. This is a stand alone printer. Very strange.:(

Did you try the suggestion in the wiki?
Good ideas do not need lots of lies told about them in order to gain public acceptance.

Went to the Wiki and re-installed it completely. Had to guess as to what the right driver was since I can't seem to find the exact one. Works now. Hope it keeps on working.
What I wonder is what happened that it stopped in the first place. Was there a new version of CUPS added that messed it up?

After much fiddling, it works. Not sure what made it, though I'm happy!
