Wireless Setup

Hello,

I recently purchased a laptop and I would like wireless to work with as little user input as possible. In other words, I want it to connect via Ethernet if available, and if not, try to connect to a WPA-secured wireless signal, and if not, an unsecured wireless, and if not, any unsecured wireless. All of this continually so the user need not have to manually specify when to connect.

What would be the best way to do this?
