No CD-ROM: Error: ata2.01 fault or invalid emulation.

I have just (re) installed Arch and the cdrom dirve is not mounted and does not apear in the /dev folder. In the dmesg I found the follwing meassage:
# ata2.01 fault or invalid emulation. Contact drive vendor for information.
This problem appeared from the moment I installed archlinux. In other distros I don't have this problem.

but no cdrom in dev (neither sr0).
I attached the complete lsmod, dmesg a version of kernels (of both working and non-working scenarios).

http://pastebin.ca/1642640-lsmod _working
http://pastebin.ca/1642642-dmesg_real (what do I get now when CD-ROM drive is not mounted)
http://pastebin.ca/1642646-lsmod_real (what do I get now when CD-ROM drive is not mounted)

After modprobe sr_mode I've get in lsmod:
sr_mod 16644 0
cdrom 36032 1 sr_mod
scsi_mod 112404 4 sr_mod,sg,sd_mod,libata

Thank you.

No answer. Ok. Could anyone tell me where should I post this problem? Is there another section for this kind of issues, or a mailing list? I really need my cd-rom drive. Thank you.
