Hello all!
I recently realized that there is a package on the Arch LiveCD which I should have installed that I didn't. Is there any way to get to that file without reinstalling the entire system?

If you can access the internet, you can install it using pacman. If it's not essential for the installation of the system I suggest you continue and install it later right after the point the guide has you update the system.

The issue is, I cannot access the internet.

I want to install ABS so I can compile the module into the kernel. I think that the first step is to get ABS itself. If I'm not mistaken, that is on the CD.

The wiki is your friend: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ins … _from_a_CD
(Edit: and mine too.)
Looking at the install CDs, you might need to loop mount a .sqfs file. The pacman option -U might be better than setting up a repository. ALso, do search the wiki for offline install.

Without network, you can't update the abs tree anyway. Get the PKGBUILD and so on from archlinux.org/packages instead (search for the package, click on it, click on the svn entry for it)

Which *.sqfs do I mount? I've tried the core-pkgs.sqfs, overlay.sqfs and root-image.sqfs. Only the core-pkgs one had packages, but dhclient wasn't in there... >.<

Then may be it's not there. The CD is pretty minimal in what it offers. Why not download the package you want using a different computer, such as the one you are posting from. There is a good guide for this on the wiki, search for offline install.

I literarally JUST saw the download package option above the package description. Idiotic operator, nothing to see here.
