Got an issue with pacman after doing a pacman - Syu I get the below error

Wow, you're just getting the split KDE upgrade now? How long has it been since you -Syu'd?
Anyway, replacing perl-io-zlib with core/perl should do the trick I think.

haha yeah I guess it has been a while, I didn't realise. So what do I do to use core/perl?

pacman -Rd perl-io-zlib && pacman -Sy perl should do it.
