dpi messed up after xorg update, intel 945gm

I'm not sure if this is related to inteldri or what, but my usual approx 96 dpi has now decreased quite a bit... fonts are annoyingly large, as are sizes of some menus.

Same here, except the fonts became smaller, and 75 dpi or 96 dpi don't make any difference. I now have in ~/.Xdefaults Xft.dpi: 110 and appearance is back like it was before upgrade roll
edit : with a intel 915GM

I use the 945gm.  I went for:

xrandr --dpi 86

in my .xinitrc.

(Yes, I really want 86dpi...)

I have noticed this too, for me it went from 98 to 96, I was a bit surprised the first time I started X after the update but I think I prefer it how it is now tongue

Mobility RadeonHD 2400 (1002:94c9, M72-M, http://developer.amd.com/drivers/pc_ven … ault.aspx) here with xf86-video-ati from the repos.

Re: dpi messed up after xorg update, intel 945gm

I found Xft.dpi: 90 in my .Xdefaults to work for me......
I've also found that Increasing the dpi number is decreasing the dpi, and decreasing the dpi number is increasing the dpi. Any idea why its working opposite the way it should?
