xorg conflicts with calcomp

Hi,

When I try to upgrade, a warning appears:

xorg-server conflicts with xf86-input-calcomp. Remove xf86-input-calcomp? [Y/n]

What should I do? Will removing xf86-input-calcomp do any harm to my system? I am using Arch + KDEmod in my 64bit installation.

Re: xorg conflicts with calcomp

calcomp was deleted from the repos a few weeks ago, so you can go ahead and remove it.

As I proceeded with an yes, it asked for more removals.

Actually, I don't know how to check. Is it pacman -Q <pkg> ?

But anyhow, I went with the installation before getting your reply in the confidence that, if anything goes wrong, it can be rectified afterwards. Hadn't finished it as if now. Thank you for that smiley. big_smile
