2.6.31 Kernel Freezes

When I was using Arch I was having problems with my NIC, so when 2.6.31 Kernel came out I upgraded and my system would frequently freeze when trying to do anything...

Almost as soon as I was done upgrading the packages it would start locking up, to the point where nothing would respond and all I could do is a hard reboot.

I don't know if anyone has any ideas.  I haven't even been able to get far enough to install gnome or anything else.

Re: 2.6.31 Kernel Freezes

Are you using wireless? I'm finding that using wireless on 2.6.31 causes random lockups, where not using wireless does not.

Please be patient, I'm a n00b on Arch (only 2 years on Ubuntu) so I may say something stupid!
PS thank you to all those who contribute awesomeness to the AUR and the main packages, you guys have made my computer so much more fun to use!
