When using the Clock applet for xfce I get a wrong date/time. I have my timezone set correct, the hour is right, but the AM/PM is wrong, which is resulting in the date being a day behind than it really is, how can I fix this?

Does 'date' give you the correct answer?
Good ideas do not need lots of lies told about them in order to gain public acceptance.
