Hi,
I've udev-146 installed on Arch Linux. It takes 180sec at boot time to complete "waiting for udev uevents to be processed" or ssomething like that. Also it consumes excessive cpu usage.
May I know what's the release schedule for udev-147??
I could find this one in AUR: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=31373
but because it's missing some patches, I don't want to give it a try.
Regards
Mukul

In short, when it is ready.
Look at ABS. Bump pkgver and fix md5sums.

I don't know the procedure for gettings pkg from ABS. Can you elaborate what do you mean and how to do it.

Install the "abs" tool and run it as root.
You will get the PKBGUILDs in /var/abs/<repository>/<package>/
