Mencoder is dangerous?

I'm trying to install mencoder [AUR] to convert some videos and i get the next blinkg message:

Unsupported package: Potentally dangerous.

Does anybody know why is that?

It says that for all AUR packages.

You don't need to install that package anyway - the "mplayer" package comes with mencoder, so just use that.

All Arch User Repository packages are potentially dangerous, since they are created by users and everyone else who has an interest in uploading PKGBUILDs. That is why it is a good idea to read the PKGBUILD before installing the package.
