Wow so many people prefer a dark terminal scheme... here's mine, I think it's a modified and somewhat hacked Tango theme:
(It has artifacts because I forgot to make the terminal opaque; I think underneath the terminal window you can see bits of Firefox and Vim =/ )
@Barrucadu: How did you get the colour names to appear in your colortheme script?

I didn't write it, I use the colortheme package in the AUR.

Well, now you definitely need to post your .Xdefaults colours section!

Got some colour schemes from here and i love them.
Is there something like a script to change the color scheme automatically and bind it to a key?
Thanks and greetings.

I believe that adding lines such as this will allow you select a given scheme without needing (re)comment all of the others:
#include "/home/username/.Xdefaults_schemename"
Just save your schemes as individual files and include only the one you want.

The cyan and blue are a bit too close to tell apart, and the bold colors are the same as the regular ones, but it really doesn't make much difference for me.

I have a doubt. How will this settings behave when using xterm-256color as $TERM.
If my understanding is correct these settings are for 16 color xterm ? Or am I missing something.
Thanks
