Have a look at the 'Downgrade Packages' wiki page.

Re: Back to Kernel 2.6.30

When I am using the 2.6.31 Kernel it seems to lock up and freeze nothing responds.  I saw else where on the forums that some people were having problems with it when using wireless.  because sometimes it will happen right after I install from the CD, do a pacman -Syu then reboot it will start locking up

Re: Back to Kernel 2.6.30

All of the 2.6.31.x kernels have cause some minor freezing / locking up issues for me, too, so I'm hoping that 2.6.31.6 that was released earlier today will fix those problems.

You can get the older kernels here:

http://www.schlunix.org/archlinux/core/os/

...but note that you might have to downgrade certain other packages as well if they depend on a certain kernel.

Re: Back to Kernel 2.6.30

a few weeks ago i was trying to compile the zen kernel on my desktop. and for the life of me, i couldn't get 2.6.31 to compile at all no matter what. i wonder if whatever problems people are having with it might be the same sort of problems causing my compile issues with it.....

i ended up using 2.6.32RC, its running stable, no problems with it. i would have used 2.6.30 but i needed the x-fi drivers

this is a signature
