[Solved] pacman error - Requested Range Not Satisfiable

started doing this a few days ago, cant remember if it was after an update or not.

pacman log shows nothing.

pacman -Sy
:: Synchronizing package databases...
error: failed retrieving file 'core.db.tar.gz' from archlinux.unixheads.org : Requested Range Not Satisfiable
error: failed retrieving file 'core.db.tar.gz' from mirror.csclub.uwaterloo.ca : Requested Range Not Satisfiable
error: failed to update core (Requested Range Not Satisfiable)
extra is up to date
community is up to date

My bad, turns out /var/lib/pacman/core.db.tar.gz was core.db.tar.gz.part and needed to be deleted, i must have stoped an update while it was downloading the database.
