The current xorg-server isn't compatible with nvidia legacy drivers, until nvidia releases new updates.

Hi!
I have the same problem. I temporarily installed the nvidia drivesr instead of nvidia-96xx. When nvidia releases new updates, will I be able to install the new drivers without problem?
Also, is there any newsletter or sth to inform us when there are new nvidia drivers?
