tremulous - video-intel - gamma

hi
since i updated to new mesa 7.6, xorg 7.5,... is impossible to change gamma in the game. i would like to, because it's too dark in the game. any hints?

What happens when you try to use "\r_gamma N"? Are you using the tremulous package from community with the old stock client, or are you using the modern client from arch-games/tremulous-updated?

This is a known problem, I just wasn't really sure if it was with X, the kernel, the sdl library or X's video-intel driver. Kernel was found not to be a problem a few weeks ago.
So now it's clear to me that it is the video-intel. What I'll do is try to compile video-intel only with a patch (actually I'll probably revert to the old one or whatever).

BTW, I use Slackware 13.1 and in 13.0 everything was fine. Keep an eye on the libsdl bugzilla cause if I do anything I'll post there.
