Wall of right screen on a smaller, 1280x1024 monitor. I get artifacts for some reason.

kdemod, krandiose plasma theme, simple weather and notes plasmoids, a mix of icons (from ikons, kicons, oxygen-refit) and the wallpaper is something i found with a google image search for 'fire'.

Very nice Arkane. I like the visual impression it gives, for example the soft white/black contrast (and i like xmonad too wink )

That's a transparent conky with ${execp} and 10 refreshes/sec. Not really a satisfying solution, but well.
