Hi All,

Splitting this out to a separate thread.

I upgraded by pacamn -Syu and I got a black screen in X and the xorg logfile shows this:

It is not supported in any way.
Bugs may be filed in the bugzilla at http://bugs.freedesktop.org/.
Select the "xorg" product for bugs you find in this release.

Xorg detected your mouse at device /dev/input/mice.
Please check your config if the mouse is still not
operational, as by default Xorg tries to autodetect
the protocol.

Xorg has configured a multihead system, please check your config.

Your xorg.conf file is /root/xorg.conf.new

To test the server, run 'X -config /root/xorg.conf.new'

Anyone have any ideas how to get my mouse and keyboard back?

I have xf86-input-keyboard and xf86-input-mouse installed and dbus and hal are running.

Cheers,
Bernie

I didn't realize that had even more threads on this subject. Post one thread on one subject as per the forum rules. Closing this to draw attention.
