Hi! I have installed Arch and after restart it freezes when loading modules. Sometimes it loads them and fails in some configuring part, don't remember exactly what configuration. If i get it booted it freezes few minutes later. I have installed it many times now with different partition formats and same happens everytime

Maybe its your hardware. Can you give some details about your hardware?

Sorry for replying late. I have few years old laptop which had ran Arch well earlier. There's some 8mb corrupted part or something like that in hdd, but that part is not in use. http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/ … _ID=120941
I installed Debian yesterday and it worked well until I broke it, so is that freezing about my arch install or what?

Debian uses much older software than Arch, so you can't really compare that. Is that freezing happening with or without X? It would help to know which modules it tries to load. There is a lts kernel in the repository, which is older but more stable than the default Arch kernel.

Clean base install with newest iso. So no X and basic modules. I don't remember what modules are in rc.conf. I try install Arch again. Any tips to get it working then

If you install anyways, you could test whether these freezes also happen before you upgrade your system to the newest programs.

If you have an ATI video card, disable KMS by adding nomodeset to the kernel line of grub's menu.lst. It helped in a similar case (fresh install, no X).
Good ideas do not need lots of lies told about them in order to gain public acceptance.

I have problems installing, again... I always want to install from hard drive and that's problematic Newer iso can't load /dev/archiso and older fails when trying to choose install server. And I don't remember how I installed it last time

I got it installed with this http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ins … ting_Linux
I used nomodeset in menu.lst and it's still freezing. First time it freezed when I was doing pacman -Syy. Next time it freezed when loading modules on boot. I tried few times and at last it booted, but freezed few mins later again.
