[SOLVED] Deluge port forwarding

Hi,

Since a few days, Deluge shows a triangle with an exclamation mark inside it, when click "Test Active Port". Before that, it showed a green circle, indicating everything was working fine.
However, I'm sure I forwarded my port correctly. I added an exception in ufw, and in my router.
Then I installed tranmission-gtk to check if the port was forwarded properly, and it said: "Port is open".

So, it seems there's a bug in Deluge, right?

Thanks in advance

Edit: I'm not having this problem anymore.

Re: [SOLVED] Deluge port forwarding

I've noticed the same thing - I just ignore it as it is not affecting the downloads (in my case anyway)...

Re: [SOLVED] Deluge port forwarding

Thanks for your reply.

Well, it looks like it does affect my downloads.
Also, deluge-torrent.org doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Re: [SOLVED] Deluge port forwarding

Testing the active port does indeed fail here too but after starting to download something and the first incoming connection arrives it says everything is ok (in the status bar it stops complaining that there are no incoming connections ....).

If you want to test if you have the deluge port correctly forwarded you can also use one of the many sites that do remote port testing and check if anything is listening there or not.

I had noticed the same thing, but I wasn't sure if Deluge was telling the truth or not.
However, I just tested with lsof and netstat and it showed established connections, so it seems to be working.

Anyhow, thanks smile.
