Where is python-metacity?

I've installed metacity-themer as a binary, but I'm missing the metacity python module to execute it. According to my google searches this module is usually part of gnome-python-desktop in most distros, but is not part or arch's package of that name. Any ideas? I'm still pretty noobish here.

Re: Where is python-metacity?

It's not part of gnome-python-desktop because it's an unstable API module that upstream disabled on purpose. Some distributions enable it to have it included, but we don't.

Re: Where is python-metacity?

Ok thanks for the information. I appreciate it. If I chose to manually install would it be as simple as adding the metacity python script in with my other python scripts or is it more complicated than that?
