b43 failing when working on battery

Hope this is the right place to post this. Posting here because it is concerning b43 driver of the kernel...

When running on battery my wlan/wifi network card does no longer work. It works fine when working with power cord (battery removed), but when inserting the battery and removing the cord I am getting below errors from b43 driver:

The error keeps on going until I stop network and unload b43 driver.

Not sure it is relevant, but I am also getting below warning. However, I am getting this warning always, i.e. whether battery or power cord.

Nov 12 04:57:48 limob Warning! ehci_hcd should always be loaded before uhci_hcd and ohci_hcd, not after

I have googled for "b43-phy0 ERROR Fatal DMA error" but no joy (two findings, dating from Jan and not 100% applicable).

Anyone having an idea what could be the cause of this error and how to resolve?

Re: b43 failing when working on battery

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but the issue still persists. I was hoping it will be fixed with updates to 2.6.27 kernel, or at least with 2.6.28, but no such luck. The issue is with my i686 as well i86_64 installation. Currently having 2.6.28(.2-1) installed.

No one having an idea what could cause this and how to fix it? Should I log this with the kernel core team (anyone having their website)?

Would be nice to use the laptop how it was designed for...

Jochen

Re: b43 failing when working on battery

Last attempt. This is broken since kernel 2.6.26 - last seen working with 2.6.25. Although behaviour has slightly changed over time the issue persists. If no one in this forum knows an answer maybe you can suggest where I could log this bug - is there a kernel bug tracking system somewhere?
