well... for me things have changed by now.
Qt Browsers are still slow (even with qt 4.6)
Midori IS really fast, but its also crashing a lot.
Chromium ist just bleezingly fast and has become my main browser for a few weeks now.

On good hardware, I find Firefox to be blazing compared to the rest for some reason. Scrolling is spot on, stuff renders really fast, etc, but on slower computers you really start seeing the bloat of FF. It seems to be that Firefox is a bit bloated, but still scales really well with processing power, while the WebKit-browsers in general are still fast on slow hardware, but fail to scale well up to modern hardware.

Seamonkey is about as fast as links for me. Webkit is slow, almost as slow as IE.
Personally, I'd rather be back in Hobbiton.
