Use volume control Gateway MX3560

I have a volume hard button on the front of my laptop below my mousepad.  I am not really sure how to even search this, any insight on using this for volume control?

Most volume buttons will work out of the box with most of the DE's.  Not sure what you're using.  Can you give some more details on how you have your system set up.
