Hi all!
I installed Enemy Territory and I wanted to edit the menu entry in KDE.
I command from et to et2, an edited version of et.
When I save the menu and look back I see the entry has not changed.
How can I get KDE to remember my changes?
I use KDE 3.3.2 and Arch 0.7
Thanks!

Are you using the latest KDE packages? If no, try to upgrade. There was this problem a while ago.

Yes, I use the latest versions,
kde-i18n-nl 3.3.2-1
kdeaddons 3.3.2-3
kdeartwork 3.3.2-1
kdebase 3.3.2-4
kdegames 3.3.2-1
kdegraphics 3.3.2-3
kdelibs 3.3.2-5
kdemultimedia 3.3.2-1
Any suggestions?

try this:
cd ~/.kde
find |grep :
If you see a quite long path with a number of colons, that is the problem. This happened to me on both the current KDE, 3.2 and 3.1. I don't know the reason WHY it happens, but deleting the path fixed my problems with the menu.

[root@gommans1 .kde]# find | grep :
[root@gommans1 .kde]#
Too bad, allanon,
No long path. Thanks for trying to help me!
Other suggestions?

Log in KDE with a new user account and try to change the menu.
If that works, then it means that the problem is in your user config files.
Or you can copy your ~/.kde and ~/.kderc to another location. Log out and log back in. KDE will create new default configs.
